Armed Forces Bank - Refer-A-Friend Checking Account Offer:


The person making the referral (Referrer) will earn a $50 Visa® Reward Card for each individual referred (Referred Person) to Armed Forces Bank who registers for the offer, opens a new Armed Forces Bank personal checking account, and completes the offer requirements within the time specified in the offer. To make a referral, the Referrer must register for the program and share the offer with their friends, family, or coworkers. A Referrer may receive up to five (5) Visa Reward Cards ($250 value) within a calendar year, but only one Referrer may receive a Visa Reward Card for each Referred Person who fulfills the requirements.


To earn a $50 Visa Reward Card, the Referred Person must register by following the link provided in the referral email or on social media, open a new Armed Forces Bank personal checking account (Access Rewards, Access Freedom, Access Investment, Student or Safe Spending), and meet the following requirements within 60 days of account opening:


  • Enroll in Digital Banking, AND
  • Have at least one or more direct deposit or mobile deposit that total $300 within 60 days of opening the checking account

    OR

  • Open a Military Access Loan*

    *New Personal Checking Account with direct deposit is required with a Military Access Loan. Subject to credit approval.


An Armed Forces Bank consumer checking account must be opened with a required $25 - $100 minimum opening deposit (depending on the checking account product selected). A direct deposit is an electronic funds transfer (EFT) from a company or organization. Offer is not valid if the Referred Person is a current account holder on an existing Armed Forces Bank account or an account holder on any Armed Forces Bank account that has been closed or charged off in the last six months. Accounts opened with Armed Forces Bank Recruit Department are not eligible for a referral reward. New Access Loan clients with an existing Armed Forces Bank checking account are not eligible. Current Armed Forces Bank employees are not eligible for a referral reward. All regular account-opening procedures apply. This is a limited time offer and Armed Forces Bank reserves the right to change the offer at any time during the offer period.


Only one Referrer may receive a Visa Reward Card for each Referred Person who fulfills the offer requirements. The first Referrer that enters information for a Referred Person will be the eligible Referrer. A Referrer can receive only one reward per individual referred. These offers are only available if the Referred Person does not have or did not have within six months a personal checking account with Armed Forces Bank. The Referred Person is not eligible for additional rewards in the case of multiple new checking accounts.


The Referred Person is eligible to become a Referrer and qualify for rewards. All account specific qualifications must be met in order to qualify for rewards. These offers cannot be combined with other offers. The program may be discontinued or changed at any time without notice.


The Referrer authorizes the sending of communications to each Referred Person. The email may not be recovered if the person has “opted out” of marketing material from Armed Forces Bank or ReferLive. Each person who registers at ReferLive authorizes future communications including emails regarding the program unless they “opt out” by making an election at ReferLive or within such email. The Referred Person acknowledges that a Visa Reward Card will be issued to the Referrer after all conditions have been met in the time frames provided.


The Reward Cards are subject to Terms and Conditions delivered with the card, including limitations on types of transactions for which they may be used. The Visa Reward Card can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted within the U.S. only. Visa is a registered trademark of Visa, Inc. Visa is not a participant or sponsor of this promotion. The Referred Person acknowledges that a Reward Card will be issued to the Referrer after all conditions have been met in the time frames provided. The Reward Cards will be mailed to the addresses provided within the ReferLive registration system and are only valid for three (3) months after issuance.


Please allow 4-6 weeks after completion of all requirements for delivery of the Visa Reward Card. The Visa Reward Cards are subject to Terms and Conditions delivered with the card. Rewards Cards may be reported as interest income to the IRS.


By participating in the program, each party waives all rights of privacy and confidentiality relating to their status as a Armed Forces Bank customer, and releases Armed Forces Bank and its employees from all liability in this respect.


Armed Forces Bank may terminate, suspend, or otherwise change the terms of the Refer-a-Friend Program at any time for any reason, with or without notice. In addition, Armed Forces Bank may refuse payment to a Referring Customer or Referred Person under the Program if it has a good faith belief that the individual has provided false, misleading, or deceptive information while participating in the Program or establishing corresponding accounts.
